Now, for real talk – ectopic pregnancies are serious business, especially for black women. In case you don’t know, that’s when the fertilized egg implants somewhere other than the uterus, usually in the fallopian tubes. It’s no joke and can be life-threatening if not treated properly.

Recipe time: Honey-glazed salmon
Now let’s switch gears and get to some cooking. We’re feeling fancy today with this honey-glazed salmon recipe:
Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced (optional)
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
- Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush honey mixture over salmon.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
