Oh gosh, okay so I just took a pregnancy test and I am freaking out right now. I got this Clear Blue one and at first, I couldn’t see anything, but then I saw this super faint line and I’m like, does that mean I’m PREGNANT?!?!
Clear Blue Pregnancy Test
I mean, I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I don’t even know what to do next. Do I take another test? Go to the doctor? How do I even tell my partner?!
Not Pregnant!
But then again, what if it’s just a false positive? I don’t want to get too excited and then be let down. Ugh, being a woman is so complicated sometimes.
Recipe
In order to calm my nerves, I’m going to make myself a nice cup of tea and bake some chocolate chip cookies. Here’s the recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
- Gradually mix in flour mixture until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Well, I hope this helps calm me down and distract me from the pregnancy scare. I guess only time will tell what’s next for me.
